The Goat is very connected to art and creativity. Those born under this sign are imaginative and have a good appreciation for the finer things in life. An easy-going lot, they prefer to live in a relaxed and stress-free environment: they don't like to be bound by routine and rigid constraints.

Goats are social animals who prefer to work with a team as opposed to on their own. They need the support and encouragement of others and without it can become worried and pessimistic. But they'll often leave the major decision-making to others.

While they can be persuasive and charming, they are hesitant to let out their true feelings. Goats have a quiet, reserved nature, but when they are amongst friends, they can easily become the center of attention. They are definitely entertaining to have around at parties, as hosts or guests.

Perhaps the strongest point of the Goat is his artistic nature. Goats are born creators and are at their happiest when they are exercising their creative abilities. However, they do rely on inspiration and influence of others.

Goats are spiritual creatures who maintain a connection to animals, nature and the countryside. They also tend to be the athletic side and many excel in a sport.

They tend to keep a strong connection with their family and remain nostalgic for their childhood. Matters of the heart are important to the Goat. While Goats tend to have many affairs before they settles down, they ultimately need a stable, secure environment. A Goat is well-matched with the Tiger, Horse, Monkey, Pig and Rabbit.

Goats acquire friends easily and are relaxed in the company of others. They have a kind and understanding nature and provided they obtain support and encouragement from others, they will lead a happy and satisfying life.

Yes! I would have to say that the Goat fits me. I am an artist and a jewelry designer. I do have a hard time saying no to people cause I would rather see everyone happy. I am happy alone or with a group as far as lazy, not true. I raise 2 kids on my own and never ask anyone for help. To me that is a true goat. Rarely will they ask for help from anyone we are extremely independant. Just my thoughts!

I raised three kids all by myself - so how's that for responsibility and discipline? But yes I am dis-satisfied most of the time. I hate making mistakes and am all too aware of every single mistake that I do make. It kills me that I continually make bad decisions. In that respect I will go to my grave dis-satisfied.

My Husband was Goat as am I. He was pessimistic while I am not. We were 12 years apart - he was the love of my life. It made me realize how different we can be and how much the same. Goat to Goat relationships are wonderful. On the outside they could be like watching the grass grow - but within was wonderful. How interesting it can be written.Judy

As far as the weaknesses, I would not say that I am pessimistic or irresponsible. I do not like being in the company of negative people, they drain my energy.

the goat fits me very well, except being undisciplined, insecure and irresponsible. I make all the decisions, self starter and follow through. I do prefer to be alone yet get along with people as if I've known them for 20 years. born under the sign of gemini. also: my daughter is a virgo and under the year of the tiger, we get along like cats and dogs so as far as getting along (goat to tiger) it's not going to happen.

Hi the goat fits me perfect. I have had 4 bussinessess of my own, 2 home based, 2 brick and mortor antique shops. I love poetry, it comes from my pain. I love to paint, it is a great feeling. good at it and never took a class. Love nature and peace, now i have no peace so i am very conflicted inside. My inner self wants peace i am surrounded by turmoil. I love people, but, have been taken away from illness. Nothing cathing, just pain. So, i thank you for this unbelievable reading..thanks so much...you helped me to remember who i am and what i want, not what others want. I am very focus right now on getting what i need to nurture me inside. thanks

Hello, I must agree strongly with what I read concerning the Goat's nature. When I look back over my life and now to the present, the Goat has the same nature as me and the Goat was always me, that is so amazing to me, I never heard it nor read it like this before. I would like to receive more information on the Goat and who is well-matched, thanks...pamela

I agree with most of the info, but I'm a Taurus. I prefer to work alone, instead of a group. Also, I don't rely on inspiration & influence from others. In fact, I'm one of those people that really care less about peoples opinions & what they think.
Comment #34 by Pat on January 28, 2009
I have no problem being alone or with a group. I am not Pessimistic, Dissatisfied, Capricious, Undisciplined, Irresponsible, Insecure, Intrusive. Most of the rest is close. I am very Artistic and have a creative side. Pat

Interesting, I'm a goat that likes wood and my fiance is a goat that likes water. My home is a frame house with lots of wood paneling. His home is a wooden sailboat, circa 1970's.

Well, this hits me 99% of the time. I'm impressed. I also talk to the goats in the back field & they answer. 20 yrs. Navy, 3 US Corp. & many sport trophys. Now I know why I am. Thanks. "Chief"
