| Please prayer for my son in law. He was in the Navy full time for ten years and is a Lt. Commander, but due to his being on a base that is closing in Maine, he was passed over for promotion and was force to leave the regular Navy, and is now a reserve officer. He is presently waiting for congress to release funding so he can go back to work in a temporary position that he has been doing in Rhode Island teaching at the war college. This affects him and dozens of others like him. He has applied for a full time support position back in the Navy, but so far has only been doing short temporary jobs. Right now, he has not worked for 5 weeks. The command unit in Rhode Island stays in touch with him, but without the release of the funding, he is literally out of work. Please pray that these young men and women in the military will get work soon. Since he is not in a combat branch of the military, his job doesn't seem as important as someone in the Army or the Marines ( God bless them all, and keep them safe and well). He is like millions of other Americans, he needs a job. I ask God to help him and all his fellow military brothers and sisters who are waiting on funding so they can go back to work They all have bills just like cilivians. Since he is a resevest, the Navy doesn't give him a housing allowance. He does get paid for two week ends a month. There are five menbers of that family. three children and the parents. |
