Helpful Hints About Honey

Important - Honey Can Be Dangerous for Babies
The only real dangerous drawback to honey concerns babies under one year of age.  Honey has been known to occasionally carry a rare type of botulism spore that can live in a very young child’s intestines, germinate and create deadly toxins.  It is extremely rare, perhaps only 30 cases reported in the world per year.  Nevertheless, doctors caution not to give honey to any child under a year old.
