	How to make yogurt Yogurt is not difficult to make at home if you would like to try. All you need is milk, a small quantity of natural yogurt (make sure it contains active yogurt cultures), a saucepan to heat the milk, a cooking thermometer and a container to keep the yogurt warm while it is incubating. • Start by heating 2 cups of milk to 180°, just below the boiling point. This sterilizes it. Cool to 110°. • Pour most of the warm milk into a thermos, and blend 1 teaspoonful of plain yogurt with the remaining milk; then pour into the thermos. • Put on lid, shake, then leave undisturbed overnight (at least 8 hours), or until set. You can now refrigerate your homemade yogurt.
